Beehives are Bees' homes in the Yoshi series.

Yoshi's Story[edit]
In Yoshi's Story, if Yoshi walks past them, the Bees living in them will get angry, resulting in the Bees blocking Yoshi's path.
Super Mario Sunshine[edit]
In Super Mario Sunshine, Bees will get angry if Mario sprays water at the beehive. If Yoshi eats the Bees, however, Mario will be awarded with a Blue Coin, or a 1-UP Mushroom.
