The Mace Guy is a enemy in the Yoshi series. Debuting in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, it is a ball and chain swinging Shy Guy.
Yoshi series[edit]
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island[edit]
The Mace Guy first appears in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It is only found in the levels Sluggy the Unshaven's Fort, Raphael the Raven's Castle and Ultimate Castle Challenge. They carry a flail which will hurt Yoshi, but if he touches it, spits it out the Mace Guy or freezes it with the ice watermelon, it will cause it to lose the flail and become a regular Shy Guy.
Yoshi Topsy-Turvy[edit]
The Mace Guy appears in Yoshi Topsy-Turvy, once more reprising their same role from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
Yoshi's New Island[edit]
The Mace Guy reappears in Yoshi's New Island, remaining unchanged from previous appearances.
