The Super Smash Bros. series is a crossover fighting game series published by Nintendo. The series mainly features Nintendo characters with some third-party characters appearing starting with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The first installment in the series is titled Super Smash Bros. released for the Nintendo 64 and the latest installment in the series is Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U released for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is an upcoming title for the series set to release on the Nintendo Switch on December 7th, 2018.
