Wild Ptooie Piranha

Wild Ptooie Piranha is an enemy in the Yoshi series debuting in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It's similar to a Piranha Plant except is green.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Wild Ptooie Piranha first appears in Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island. They attack by spitting three yellow Needlenoses consecutively at Yoshi. After a while, they briefly rest before attacking again. When hit, it will first turn yellow while the second hit turns them red additionlly like the Piranha Plant. If Yoshi gets too close it will eat him before spitting him out.

Yoshi's Island DS

Wild Ptooie Piranha returns in Yoshi's Island DS. They act the same as in the previous game.

Yoshi Touch & Go

Wild Ptooie Piranha reappears in Yoshi Touch & Go. This time they attack by spitting Spiny Eggs at Yoshi.

Yoshi's Woolly World

Wild Ptooie Piranha reappears in Yoshi's Woolly World. They act the same as before however unlike in previous games they do change color when hit and they attack by spitting a Pokey Pom or a Shy Guy which rolls along the ground.
